For arts and culture
The Marigold Auditorium for Arts and Culture (MAAC) is a performance venue located in a historic district within Athens Clarke County, Georgia. Built in 1953, the Auditorium was a Winterville event venue used by the community for concerts, plays, pageants and other public functions until it fell into disrepair.
Today, after extensive renovations and restorations, the MAAC offers state-of-the-art lighting, audio, and projection capabilities, seating for 250 people, and serves as a Winterville event venue for theatrical productions, music groups, weddings, corporate events, and Winterville Marigold Festival events.
