The Winterville Center

Community and Culture in Winterville, Georgia

In our continuing effort to protect everyone who comes to the WCCC, here are our guidelines for your safety and ours:

  • The entire Center has been sprayed using a commercial electrostatic spraying system for disinfection.  Our janitor will continue to disinfect door handles, the restrooms, tables, chairs, countertops, and other surfaces throughout the Center.
  • Masks are still necessary at this time. Georgia is going through a soft opening which means precautions still need to be taken to protect ourselves and others in the community who are at high risk.
  • A sanitation station will be set up in our office and will include hand-sanitizer, gloves, masks, tissues, and sanitation wipes, should you require them.  However, please try to bring your own items to help us out.
  • Utilize contactless forms of greetings avoiding handshakes, hugs, and fist bumps. Elbow bumps OK.
  • Please stay home if you are not feeling well...fever (104°F and higher), shortness of breath, and other respiratory symptoms and call your physician to make an appointment.
  • Wash your hands often and feel free to use our hand sanitizer upon entering the building. Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or use the inside of your elbow. Toss used tissue immediately into a trash can or toilet.
  • Preferably cashless forms of payment accepted.  We do accept most credit cards.
  • Ten (10) persons (including the instructor) shall be allowed in the smaller classrooms (Rooms 101 and 103).
  • Fifty (50) persons shall be allowed to occupy the large room.
  • Coffee house guests on Tuesdays will now be served from behind the counter by one of our employees.  No one will be allowed to serve themselves.  Disposable materials and supplies will be used as much as practical.

Not all classes and social events will be available right away but added as we return to our regular schedule.  Stay tuned to our Facebook and Nextdoor pages and of course, our website.
