Dot Painting

Are you interested in learning a new painting technique that is fun, relaxing, and needs no previous art skills? If yes, this class is for you! The dot painting technique is an art form that is becoming increasingly popular. You can find examples online at websites such as Pinterest, Etsy, and Instagram.

Dot painting consists of using various tools to apply dots of paint on a canvas to create paintings that range from fun, simple pictures to elegant, complex ones. You can work on small projects and see beautiful results in a short time. The canvas possibilities you can choose from are endless (e.g., rocks, thick cardboard, old CDs, vinyl records, glassware, mugs, etc.). Dot paintings make wonderful, one-of-a-kind birthday and Christmas gifts. I will bring samples of dotting projects so you can see the range of possibilities for this craft.

Dot Painting is Mondays at 10 AM. Come in or call us at 706-742-0823 to reserve your spot!

Oil Painting

Description:This class is for the adult who wants to try a new craft for the first time or to renew an interest now that there is more time in life for leisure activities. Each class will focus on a different aspect of oil painting, starting with creating a color wheel in order to understand color and ending with the completion of a landscape. Oil painting is a solitary activity but with a group of like-minded people. Classes will also include learning how to critique a painting and discussing what is effective in a painting and what can be improved.

Join us for Oil Painting on Mondays at 1:00 PM. Only a few spots left! Come in or call us at 706-742-0823 to reserve your spot!
