Rental Information
Book your next event at the Winterville Community Center (WCC) in beautiful downtown Winterville, Georgia. We are located less than 10 minutes outside of Athens.
We have a full, modern kitchen and a large, multi-purpose room that seats 65 at round tables or 100 in a theater-style arrangement. Some of the rental events we have hosted at the WCC include:
If you need additional rental space, there are two smaller multi-use rooms with a sink and a small counter area. The two rooms can also be used for reception rooms, bride rooms, and additional seating for larger parties.
The attractive space features tiled floors, large windows, and dual-function lighting.

FAQ for Winterville Center Rentals
Q: What do I need to pay to reserve my room(s)?
We operate on a first-come, first-served basis. In order to reserve your room, you must pay all rental fees plus a $100 refundable cleaning deposit upfront.
We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards.
If paying by card, you can use the Rental Form (hyperlink- https://wintervillecenter.com/rental-form) to pay and reserve your booking.
Q: How does the cleaning deposit work? When will I get that back?
We collect the $100 cleaning deposit upfront as part of your rental fee when you book the space.
After finishing your rental, the Director will inspect the space to make sure you left it in the same condition as you found it.
If there is any damage to the building or if you didn’t leave the space clean, the Director will keep all or a portion of your deposit – at his sole discretion.
After completing the inspection, the Director will refund all or a portion of your deposit using the payment method you used to reserve the space.
Most renters get their cleaning deposit fully refunded.
Q: What is the cancellation policy if I need to cancel or reschedule my rental?
In order to receive a full refund, or to reschedule your reservation for a different date, we require two weeks notice before the date of your reservation. No partial refunds.

Q.What if the date and time I want is not available?
If you wish, we can put you on a waiting list and contact you if there is a cancellation.
Q: How do I get access to the building for my rental?
For any events held during normal office hours (Monday thru Friday, 9am-5pm), the Center will be unlocked and staff will be available to let you in.
For all events held after hours or on weekends, the Director will contact you either via email or phone the week before your reservation to notify you of the procedure for getting access to the building.
Q: Can I do a tour of the facility before I book the space?
Yes, of course! Please use the calendar above to schedule a free tour of the facility.
Tours are provided only during normal office hours (generally Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm).
Q: How do I check availability for my day and time?
You can use the calendar above to see if there are any events scheduled on your preferred day and time.

Q: What is the parking situation like near the building?
We have plenty of parking in back of the building for you and your guests.
Q: Do you have a yard area or outdoor area I can use?
Yes! We have a large lawn area in front of the building that you can use at no additional cost.
You can use the lawn for any purpose, as long as you don’t damage it.
If you plan to use the lawn as part of your rental, please notify us in advance to make sure we reserve it for you.
